Spring Midwest Willys Reunion 2012

Brochure The Midwest Willys Reunion's 20th gala gathering was held 18-20 May, 2012 at Mason, Ohio. Tech events, vendors galore, Willys folklore and much more.

Those wishing to spend the weekend could make room reservations at the Kings Island Resort & Conference Center. Families could enjoy the amusement park and a number of other nearby attractions.

Saturday night's banquet featured guest speaker Ron Szymanski, former curator of the Jeep House Museum and retired 35-year employee of Jeep; a rare chance to get Jeep history from a primary source.

Bob Christy was acting as MC at the Reunion this year, but still managed to snap some photos. Other photos here are by Art Contoni and by Sebastian Lobo-Guerrero who made the trip to the Reunion with several other members of the Flat Fender Club of Butler. Further details on the weekend and any of these pictures are welcome.

About 100 attendees made it into the group photo.	Looks like Mike Hurt has added a trailer to his military-style 3B.
Bob Gibbs' High Hood Surrey was the talk of the Reunion. Here he shows it to Sebastian.	Sisters Carol Mowry and Nanci Knight took Sebastian for a ride in their 1960 DJ-3A Surrey.
He got this great picture on the highway.	And Powder Keg H-D in Mason was a good spot for a road photo.
A beautiful 3B belonging to Dave Streithorst.	You never know what to expect at the swap tables.
Of course wagons and trucks were on hand.	The FC and FJ are the 3B's competitors for ugliest Jeep. The Jeespter might be a shoo-in for sharpest.
Pair of CJ-2A Willys hardtops are early Jeep classics.	CJ-2 restoration still underway.
Craig Brockhaus brought his unique San Juan Scenic Jeep Tours FC restoration.	Again this year, only a handful of 3B's on hand, but plenty of 2A's.
