I have made some custom parts lists, including things like all bolts used, grease fittings, cotter pins and bearings. Of course the exact needs depend on which particular model is chosen and year, so the lists can and do vary. These lists were compiled from information gathered from the standard parts lists over a number of years. The list below includes bearings for all Jeep CJ models. It does not include engine bearing numbers or optional equipment.

Jimmy commented on the Bulletin Board: "Good job with those numbers. Any good bearing store should also be able to either measure the bearing or cross reference the stamped number and this also applies to the seals. Sometimes the metric and SAE measurement is similar so make sure to tell them it's SAE."
Henning Moen added, "Thank you Oldtime, your list will save many of us tons of money. Internet bearing wholesalers charge 1/2 the price the online recreational Jeep places charge, plus I can get the brand I want (Timken or TRW.) And they ship fast and rarely backorder."
